Motto Text 2017

Be strong, all you people of the land,’ declares the Lord, ‘and work. For I am with you,’ declares the Lord Almighty. ……‘And in this place, I will grant peace,’ declares the Lord Almighty.” (Haggai 2:4-9)

Our Vision & Ethos

Jesus said in Matthew 28:19-20: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” St Bart’s Vision: by the power of the Holy Spirit, making, training and enabling disciples of Jesus for mission and ministry in God’s kingdom.

Making

At St Bart’s we have a passion for seeing people of all ages come to living faith in Christ. We aim to be a community of Christians united in worship and witness. We feel a particular call to reach more men in our community.

Training

At St Bart’s we long to see men and women grow in Christian maturity and respond to Jesus’ call on their lives. We feel a particular call to release the next generation of Christian leaders.

Enabling

At St Bart’s we long to see Christians serving Christ in their neighbours: locally, nationally and internationally.

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8)
